How the Turkey and Ukraine stores work when you buy PlayStation games, and which region is better for you — a short, clear guide.
Each regional version of the PlayStation Store is a separate shop. They share one catalog, but each works in its own country’s currency, has its own discounts and monthly campaigns, and prices according to local tax rules. That is exactly why the same game costs differently in the Turkish store (in lira) and the Ukrainian store (in hryvnia).
An official local PS Store is not available in every country, so many users create a Turkish or Ukrainian account and buy games and PS Plus through that region. PS PLUS Беларусь supports both: we convert at the live rate and show you the cheaper option.
Strengths. In the Turkish store many games are cheaper than in hryvnia, especially big brands at launch. The language choice is often wider — many AAA games come with English audio and subtitles. Holiday-season discounts (New Year, Summer Sale) are usually aggressive.
Weak points. The lira rate moves often, so a game that is cheap today can cost more tomorrow. Some games or DLC are unavailable in the Turkish store and need a Ukrainian or American account.
PS Plus on the Turkey region is also preferred by many users: the catalog size is the same, but the yearly price is often lower.
Strong points. The Ukrainian store is usually closer to EU pricing and for some games matches or beats Turkey. The hryvnia rate is usually steadier than the lira, which makes it the safer choice for planned purchases.
Weaknesses. Big new releases may be more expensive in the Ukrainian store in the first weeks. The local discount schedule does not always align with Turkey’s — holidays and sales campaigns differ.

A PlayStation account created under a specific region’s rules mainly works in that region’s store. Switching region, in some cases, requires recreating the account and may affect previous purchases.
